@ Giulia~ The additional square footage is a concrete slab with no crawl space. We had to have an engineer sign off on it as we tied it in to the existing foundation, which DOES have a crawl space. (Not a basement, though.)
It's all relative when it comes to "small renovations." With our previous house, we went through Phase 1 and Phase 2 of renovations, adding a grand total of approx. 800 sq ft. So this renovation, in comparison is small. ;)
Do I understand correctly that this will be added footprint to your house and that you don't have a basement?

ReplyDeleteI asked John about the crazy diagonal siding. He said that that's they way they did it before plywood became the norm. Crazy, huh?
