a whole lotta ugly

I guess it's gotta look a whole lot of ugly before it can look better, right?

    yes, totally! and it looks like work is being done and that is so exciting! progress is a beautiful thing. i love this stage cause it means stuff is happening. every little change is exciting and new. makes me want to do it again!

    It's not *that* big of a renovation. We did a LOT more in our previous house. However, I need to remember that all changes look really bad before the improvement.
