ch-ch-ch check it

On Tuesday, the contractor started framing out the new front entrance and the additional space in the back of the house. I went by the house on Wednesday and again today, because I couldn't stay away. Can you blame me?

This is how the back of the house is coming along.

And here is the front entrance.

75 days to go.

  1. Whatcha gonna do with that super cool nautical, steering wheel window?! Can't wait for a post on that!!!

I guess one of the cool things about living IN my house during the reno is that I get to check-in on things hourly, if I so please! Cool, cool framing!!!

And, seriously, I think this new font you've chosen is almost identical to your own handwriting!!! Cool, too! ;)

  3. Oh wow! You're making great progress.
(and no, I don't blame you for checking in so often, I wouldn't be able to stay away!)

  4. I really like that front entrance with the roof. Wow, what a difference. Our 50s split level roof line does not have a real entrance cover, which makes it really 'drippy' right by the front door. We were thinking down the road to add on in front of the door and I like the way you did it.

  7. Wow, that *is* exciting! I love the way the front entrance is looking with the rest of the roofline. I would probably be sitting out front in my car all day long like a total stalker observing the progress, haha!
